Ingredients4 carrots, peeled, sliced 4 pieces sweetbread 1 tablespoon paprika 1 cup water 1 cup milk, scalded 3 tablespoons butter Seasonings to taste Procedure
- Boil the sweetbreads for about 4 minutes in salted water.
- Remove sweetbreads and pare them.
- Put sweetbreads, butter, carrots, paprika, water, milk and seasonings in a kettle.
- Cover.
- Let cook slowly for about 35 minutes.
- Then serve.
