Sweetbread With Carrots And Paprika Recipe

Ingredients

4 carrots, peeled, sliced
4 pieces sweetbread
1 tablespoon paprika
1 cup water
1 cup milk, scalded
3 tablespoons butter
Seasonings to taste

Procedure

  1. Boil the sweetbreads for about 4 minutes in salted water.
  2. Remove sweetbreads and pare them.
  3. Put sweetbreads, butter, carrots, paprika, water, milk and seasonings in a kettle.
  4. Cover.
  5. Let cook slowly for about 35 minutes.
  6. Then serve.
