Procedure
- Boil new potatoes; when cold slice them and mix them well with a dressing made with 1/2 cup of cream, the yolk of 1 beaten egg, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 saltspoonful of paprika, or a dash of cayenne, 1 tablespoon of tarragon vinegar.
- Shred a few pickled gherkins, and boned anchovies.
- Mix these well with the dressing before adding it to the potatoes.
