Basic Glace Icing

Ingredients

200 gms icing sugar (2 cups approx)
2-3 tbsp hot boiling water
1 tbsp white butter

Procedure

1. Sift icing sugar.
2. Mix all the ingredients in a small pan and heat over boiling water (double boiler). Do not heat directly on fire. This process takes longer but the results are good.
3. Keep stirring occasionally, till the sugar melts.
4. Pour immediately ovet the cake. Tilt the cake to spread the icing.
5. Spread the icing with a wet knife if required.
