Ingredients1  baking tray- size- 9"x 11" approx. 4 large eggs 10 level tbsp maida 10 level tbsp powdered sugar 2  level tsp of baking powder 1 tsp vanilla essence
fillings for the Swiss Rolls Chocolate filling. Jam filling. Lemon filling.Procedure1. Separate white and yolk of eggs. 2. Beat egg whites in a dry pan, till stiff. 3. Add sugar gradually, beatin after each addition. Add essence. 4. Sift maida with baking powder. 5. Add maida to eggs & fold with a spoon 6. Pour into a greased and dusted rectangular baking tray and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C. 7. When the cake leaves the sides of the tray and is springy to touch, remove from the oven. 8. Spread powdered sugar on a grease proof paper and turn out the cake over the sugar. 9. Spread any one of the fillings (given later) and roll upwards. 10. Pack the roll tightly in a polythene and keep in the fridge till desired. 11. To serve, cut the roll into 14-15 pieces and serve with apple custard sauce.
