Ingredients1 good sized loaf white bread, 24 hours old 1 cup corn oil Mayonnaise 1 medium sized can sardines, boned and shredded 1 small bottle stuffed olives, minced 3 finely minced pimientos 1 medium sized can deviled ham 2 cream cheeses 1/4 cup chopped nuts, any kind Butter, creamed until softened Procedure
- Slice the crust off the bread, leaving a symmetrical loaf.
- Slice lengthwise into three layers, spread with creamed butter.
- Spread the bottom layer with the olives mixed with a little mayonnaise and the sardines.
- Put the second layer of bread in place and spread with the ham mixed with the pimientos and just enough mayonnaise to moisten.
- Put on the third layer.
- Frost with cream cheese that has been mixed with enough mayonnaise to make it spreadable.
- Thickly cover the cream cheese covered loaf with chopped nuts.
- Place upon a platter and chill; garnish with lettuce or parsley.
