Molly's Lovin' Breakfast Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

6 eggs
2 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 slice white bread; cubed
1 lb sausage; browned *see note
1 cup cheddar cheese; shredded

Procedure

Beat eggs; add milk, salt and mustard. Mix well. Butter the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish. Place bread cubes on the bottom. Make a layer of sausage; next a layer of cheese. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 minutes. Let stand about 5 minutes before cutting.

NOTE We enjoy Portuguese sausage in this casserole.
