Ingredients3 cups buttermilk 5 cups cream 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup pineapple juice 1¾ cups sugar 1 cup water 1/2 cup very thin orange rind 1 cup orange juice 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 cup grated pineapple Procedure
- Make a syrup of the sugar, water and orange rind.
- Mix the fruit juices, grated pineapple, salt and buttermilk.
- Pour the syrup through a strainer into this mixture.
- Mix well, freeze slightly, add the cream, and finish freezing.
