Kheer Kadam

Ingredients

Pindi khoya - 500 gms
Sugar - 150 gms
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Chopped petha - 2 tsp
Chopped cashewnut - 4-5
Pistachio - 1- 1 1/2 tsp
Saffron - 1-2
Silver virk - for decoration

Procedure

1. Roast khoya and sugar in a pan till sugar is dissolved and khoya becomes soft. 

2.  Add cardamom powder for flavour. 

3.  Mix petha, cashewnut, pistachio and cardamom powder in a bowl. 

4.  Make small balls of khoya and make cavity with the help of finger. 

5.  Now place filling and roll it into ball again.

6. Now smear silver virk with the help of cloth. Garnish with saffron and pistachio. 

7.  Kheer kadam is ready to serve.
