Vermicelli Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups milk
3 eggs
¾ cup sugar
1 cup of vermicelli, broken in pieces
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Procedure

  1. Boil the vermicelli in salted water for about 18 minutes.
  2. Drain off water.
  3. Let cold water run on the vermicelli until vermicelli is cold.
  4. Mix together eggs and sugar.
  5. Add to them slowly the milk, then the flavoring extract.
  6. Mix the vermicelli into this custard with a fork.
  7. Fill pudding dish with the vermicelli custard.
  8. Set pudding dish in a baking pan partially filled with boiling water.
  9. Bake in moderate oven for about 30 to 35 minutes.
