Ingredients

3 tomatoes
3 poached egg
3 slice of broiled bacon

Procedure

  1. Peel three tomatoes and remove the hard piece around the stem.
  2. Place in a well-oiled broiler and cook over low heat until hot throughout, turning often to avoid burning.
  3. Set on a serving dish and add a poached egg on top of each tomato.
  4. Place a slice of broiled bacon on top of each egg.
  5. If preferred, the tomatoes may be cooked in the oven.
